I ended up living on Makalapa, which, because the JIOC is inside that compound, made the housing area one of the most secure gated communities in existence: 8 foot fence with wire and cameras on top, and riflemen at the gate. Had I lived off post, Oahu would have been easily the most dangerous place I've ever lived, especially in the neighborhoods I would have been able to afford.

What people fail to understand is that Islam is not simply a religion. It is a civilization, complete with its own philosophy and legal code. Western Civilization is founded on Greek philosophy, which is different from Muslim philosophy, Roman law, which is different from Sharia law, and Christian morality, which is different from Muslim morality. Islam and the West *might* be able to coexist side by side, but not intermixed. In any one place, one or the other must dominate, because nothing about the two civilizations is compatible with the other, except for one thing: the West will tolerate Islam as a religion, while imposing only its philosophy and legal code on Muslims. Religious freedom in Muslim-dominated parts of the world is rare and temporary, however. In the long run, there are only two possible outcomes: a global caliphate in which no other religions exist and the universal practice of Islam is mandatory, or the extermination of political Islam everywhere. As long as Islam has political power anywhere, it will continue to try to take over the world. I don't blame it, but I do oppose it.
