"Afghan forces have claimed victory following a 21-day operation in the Achin and Shinwar districts of Nangarhar, claiming at least 200 militants killed"....when the ANA, ABP, or ANC actually line up ready to fight I'd be impressed. Normally if something is to be done, they expect the US to lead the way, and once we've secured whatever THEN they come in like they've done something.
We preach "By, With, and Through....the problem is that the Afghans think it's By US, with US doing the work, and through our work, they then go through us and claim they actually woke up took a shower and was ready to do business.

Very Tribal Mentality and not a damn thing anyone can do about it in that Country. They're going to have to work that out for themselves. "Afghanistan, Where Empires Go To Die" Just ask England, Russia and now the U.S.. I forget the British Soldier/Poet that wrote it was better to put you rifle in your mouth and blow your brains out than deal with what the Afghan Women would do to a wounded British Soldier. I guess some things never change.
