It is sad it had to happen, it is uplifting that there are still some parents that will not enable there criminal children or otherwise support their misdeeds.
The Internet is full of parents supporting their drug dealing, rapist, murder child saying he is a good boy and just wanted some new shoes, a date, a car ect, its not his fault.. Very ice to see a family stand up and do the hard right thing.

Right is right. Call it the way it is and in the end, the Truth will stand.

I remember you teaching me that back in 90, You said that our job is to tell the truth no matter what, if I see it say it. I have tried to live by that my whole life. Not that I was one to tell many lies anyway, nut you helped keep my head straight.

SSG Roger Ayscue - hey, we had a mission, and I took the core of that to heart, more than any of the NCO's you imprinted that to me the best. Even though I moved on under less than stellar conditions, it has always stayed with me because of your example. You solidified things in my heart to always do the best I could for the right reasons.

Servant Leadership...Te right tings for the right reasons, and always do you duty to te best of your ability. An old Colonel name Frank Walton taught me that. Mission Men and with the right motive.

Thank you for the share. I've done it before, have a niece that won't talk to me anymore.

I actually have stopped talking to many who I thought were my friends because of this. My family is small, no (biological) brothers or sisters, but I try to have friends. But they will say something that is racist or unnecessarily hateful. I will warn them once or twice, but if they will not change, then I stop talking to them as well. I do believe in giving a person a chance to change, but I am getting to old to argue over the same ground over and over, so I just move on. If someone asks why, I will tell them in the most noninflamatory way I can, why I no longer talk to this person or that person.
