I just read this article that came across my computer as I was reading another article. I can't say I was ever fawned over, the closest I came to that was participating in 911 observance i uniform in NYC. I am not sure what to think of this retired Army Colonel's article. Any thoughts?

He is right that some veterans have behaved badly, but I also don’t think that should stain most veterans.

The treatment of Veterans after WW2 and before Desert Shield/Storm has been atrocious. Thanking veterans and active duty has become disdainful.
This article shouldn't denigrate all veterans. Any person having worn the uniform and advocates martial law should be recalled to service and Court Martialed. Their statements advocate TREASON!
