Several mass casualty events apparently tied to the incel movement have occurred with relative frequency in recent years starting in May 2014, when 22-year-old Elliot Rodger shot and killed six women in Isla Vista, California in "retribution" for years of romantic rejection that he detailed in a twisted, vengeful manifesto.
Indeed, the screenshot appeared the day after Brian Isaac Clyde, a former Army infantryman who frequently posted memes that referenced the incel movement alongside anti-government conspiracies to his Facebook page, was shot by federal officers after he opened fire outside a Dallas, Texas federal building.

It has always been easier to blame others for one's own faults. Then demonize them. Then, it does not stop you from killing them because it feels like justice and retribution for the evil things they did to you.
Sounds like abnormal psychology, now doesn't it? Well, it just normal human response to defend yourself after seeking protection from the hurt one feels. But, to continue down that path and hate others to the point of hurting them or killing them just so you can feel better, that is what is abnormal.
It use to be hidden and small groups. But, with the 'shrinking' of the world, those groups got larger. It lead to the Holocaust. It lead to Rwanda. It lead to Kosovo. And, now with the Internet and the Dark Web, anonymity, and government and criminal organizations distributing misinformation, chaos, and hate, we will see more of this kind of thing!
We need to fully fund, provide, and destigmatize mental health. Screen, intervene, and cure (who can be cured) so this kind of thing becomes a nightmare of the past. But, we are talking about a taboo here. Now, aren't we? Not to mention some would say taking away a person's freedoms (there are always those groups out there)
Legalize prostitution, regulate it and tax it, and part of this would go away!
