I can see your point, SGT (Join to see) , but at the same time, I see and absorb the fact and idea that owning/carrying a firearm is a FREE MAN'S/WOMAN'S right to protect themselves and their families against whomever attacks, whether that be an illegitimate or non-constitutional government or criminals... Just saying...

There' was a saying floating around Russia after the USSR fell: "A free man owns a gun."

When I was stationed at the main Comm. Center in Seoul I think I was an American but I learned that a man in the Army didn't need a weapon. One day I ask my Captain Sir where is my weapon I haven't seen it since I was stationed here. It is locked up specialist Evans. You don't need a weapon. Sir? What is you mission if the North Koreans attack to kill as many as fast as you can . NO sir. It is to destroy all classified equipment and material before the enemy can seized it. You know the North Koreans will help you with your mission. Sir? yes, the first rocket to Seoul will hit the main Comm. Center and evaporate you and all the Materia and equipment . I see sir. But just in case they miss i I better keep on destroying everything myself or you will send me back to Leavenworth where I came form but on the other side of the fence. Evans I am proud you know your mission. Thank you sir. I Never worried where my weapon was again. I just loved a commander with a sense of humor.
