Army identifies 2 killed in helicopter crash in Kentucky

Rest in peace 37-year-old Chief Warrant Officer 3 Ryan Connolly of Manchester, Mo., and 28-year-old Warrant Officer James Casadona from Marine Corps Base Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii who were killed on Friday, April 6, 2018 when their AH-64 Apache helicopter crashed during training at Fort Campbell, Ky. .

FYI when I was stationed at Fort Campbell in 1975 every month there were fatal helicopter each month during the night. Later I learned these crashes were during nighttime nap-of-the-earth training for what would one day be known as the 160th SOAR.
