40% of transgenders - even if fully transitioned and accepted in their new gender - commit suicide. The only group with a higher level of suicide is Jews during WWII in concentration camp. Just so we are clear - thats 40% successfully commit suicide. If you add in those who try and fail...the number is closer to 60%. While they are a small percentage of population over all and even smaller percentage of military members... it just takes one mentally unbalanced person to reveal top secret information and cost the lives of soldiers.

Add to that the stress of armed service. The stress of combat. This is a very very very...did I say VERY...bad idea.

Part of the suicide issues is those that have surgery believe it will fix their problems and when it does not, suicide can be their solution. It is sad how sociology has driven the treatment modalities for those with gender dysphoria, not medicine.

I had a scientist tell me in the same breath that gender is a societal concept and that its been scientifically proven there is more than 2 genders. IF its societal...then it cant be proven with science.

Not sure where you get your statistics but based on your use of "transgenders" I can only guess.

I wonder if DoD will go to our allies and ask them to take this training. I would like to see the DoD training team doing the training in AFG and Iraq to our incountry allies. That would be the class to attend.

I do not see this as an issue for our military due to the fact that there is at least a Division (+) in personnel strength that is historically non-deployable. Look at any deploying BCT and there is a BN(+) that is on Rear Detachment for one reason or another. If one looks at this issue as a medical readiness issue rather than anything else (political, social justice, moral, ethics, other) one will see it is a .001 issue on DoD.
The military has more pressing issues than this and the GOs are the reason the Army at least are in the condition they are in, not a medical procedure.

Read the following for additional context: http://index.heritage.org/military/2017/assessments/us-military-power/u-s-army/
