PO2 Robert M. Petulant ? A border wall was a mainstay of his campaign. The democrats previously agreed. Now because it is POTUS’s idea, they hate it.
I was never petulant in the military or at work! I simply got extremely agitated when dumb sxxts refused to accept my reasoning for improvements - read: ‘border control’ because they did not like my style!
Are US Navy 2nd Class Petty Officers, allowed enough authority to be petulant when they are thwarted in their ideas or plans?
When that independent GoFund me account was able to receive over $16 million to fund a wall from deplorables like me, I hoped the democrats might wake up.

I concur with SOME of the statements, however, when he shuts down the government because he does NOT get his way, he is not acting on behalf of the country! ( IMHO ) Also, being out of the military for over 30 years, I have obtained a lot more knowledge than when I was in the military.

CSM Charles Hayden I was thinking about this post and your response, about authority *etc*. I know it has been over thirty years since I took my oath, but I believe in the oath, there was a statement: "I, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." I would like to point out first sentence - I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. There are a couple of interesting parts - I support the Constitutions of these United States of America, and when an elected official, be it a City Council Member or POTUS violates that sacred parchment, I will call them out.

Two things. First, you need to send a bill to the President because he is living rent free in your head.
Second, you should place the blame on this squarely where it belongs, and has for a long time, the Congress. Had they done their job, the would have submitted and passed budgets for ALL federal government agencies, and not operated on some budgets and the rest as continuing resolutions.
