Props to your wife's foster Dad, team Canada and all WWII Vets living and past (as well as those that endured invasion, occupation and worse) and those that built the Mosquito in Canada, England and Australia.
On 21MAR45, Mosquitos (and other aircraft) executed a pinpoint bombing of København, Danmark's "Shellhus" (i.e., Gestapo HQ w/prison cells that were holding members of the Danish resistance). Many of my family members were in DK during WWII.

Called one of the most accurate bombing missions of the Second World War, it left the Gestapo headquarter as a blazing inferno.

My mother, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins were in DK on 09APRIL40 (YouTube link). God Bless all those that helped with the liberation (both within and outside of DK) which occurred a few months after that raid.
