Border rancher says he'll give up part of his land for Trump's wall

South Texas Vietnam Veteran giving up part of his land for Trump to build the wall....and HE is NOT the only one willing and wanting to do this.
Landowners along the border like Escobar usually keep to themselves, but he’s one of the many Trump supporters that are now speaking up.
“There’s bunches of Hispanics up and down this border that, even though this is a blue area, we don’t go along with the blue ideology when it comes to something like that, when it comes to securing our borders,” Escobar said.
These folks are willingly giving up there land, however others are receiving letters....and being offered fair market value for their land. This is called EMINENT DOMAIN! The government is PAYING FAIR MARKET VALUE for this land...it's not like the government is just snatching it up from these folks..
Until you've lived in a BORDER state and close to the border, you do not know what REALLY goes on along the border.
All of you people who think we don't have a problem DON'T have a CLUE!
ABC/CBS/NBC/MSNBC/CNN etc.... DO NOT EVER report these stories that is ALWAYS reported on the LOCAL news.
Shootings along the border, chases by air, boat and auto....Drug's...Lots and Lots and lots of drugs coming across the border....Raids on stash houses....Every week in the News....then there is Innocent people being shot...being killed because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time...like minding their own business fishing on the River and being gunned down by the cartel...people being kidnapped....all kinds of stuff that MANY or MOST of you Don't have a clue is going on here ....on the TEXAS / MEXICO border.

It isn't surprising to me that a Vietnam Veteran who owns land in south Texas adjacent to Mexico is willing to give up part of his land to build the wall between the USA and Mexico.
IMHO it is a good thing that the bulk of the land adjacent to Mexico is in Texas and Arizona which tend to have a higher percentage of conservatives.
If this wall had to be built on the coast of California through Washington State I would expect few if any people would volunteer their land. Rather they would be up in arms.
After all "Remember the Alamo" is still a battle cry to many Texans.
