Wow! I clearly remember seeing the photo in Life Magazine at the time it was released and can recall thinking "How did that child escape Napalm with so little damage to her body?" and until I heard her speaking about it I had no idea what had happened to her aside from her going to college and that was the last of it. Clearly the Lord had His hand on her that day and spared her for the role she would play in the lives of children and others today. That she found the Lord through a copy of the New Testament in a library in Siagon is pretty amazing in and of itself until you step away from it and see the hand of the Lord in it from the very beginning.

This wonderful Lady is a marvelous person. A veteran in her own right. A true casualty of war who rose beyond hate and choose forgiveness. I hope she will always be at peace with the past.
