It's strange to have found this video at this time when I am writing a review of a new book, a global history of concentration camps. (I'll share it here on RP when it's finished) We who have fought in combat theaters are aware of noncombatants, especially during insurgencies such as Vietnam and COIN operations against terrorists who hide among civilian populations. But how often do we stop to really look at them and consider their perceptions of the wars we are fighting? It's a luxury that we can ill afford when we are up to our asses in alligators fighting for our lives. Wouldn't it be nice if those who start insurgencies or incited terrorism took responsibility for the noncombatants who suffer for their causes?
