Can money buy Americans happiness?

If you cant be happy when all your needs are met, you'll never be happy. If you have money left at the end of the month, you're doing better than a large part of the world. My newest vehicle is 20 years old. it was used when I bought it. Happiness is internal, I get mine singing Karaoke several nights a week. If I spend $10.00 on a karaoke night, I've splurged. I don't need alcohol to have a good time. That was a major expense I don't have anymore, and a morning headache that disappeared.

Trying to keep up with the "Jones's" is a poor determinant. There's always going to be a Jones with more and better stuff. I don't care what you have or drive, I don't have payments to make, and sleep just fine.
