HMCS Athabaskan was flanked by tugboats as it left the harbour that was its home port for almost 45 year. It will be recycled by Marine Recycling Corporation in Sydney.

This is a shame. I enjoyed working with them in Afghanistan and at Air Force Space Command back in the day. Good, professional people all around in my experience.
