Sounds great, I've got reservations; Who thinks the UK is just going to sign off on losing that much territory and tax base. Speaking of territory, that much land is going to have be divided into several states. The French speakers in the Quebec area will be a problem, they already think of themselves as different from the rest of the country. What about American fugitives that are in Canada. These are all things straight off the top of my head. I'd be happy to see the American Continent become a unified landmass under our Constitution, but there are a lot of culteral differences that will have to be ironed out.

This will never happen. Canadians will never agree to it, they are as independent minded as we are.

Many years ago there was a movement when French Canada was talking separation from English Canada. They even had a vote. The western providences were talking about joining the USA. It is a possibility, not likely, but a possibility based on their past actions.

My wife met her favorite junior hockey player, Jeff Finley, from when she was a kid. He's from BC and played 15 years in the NHL. He asked about her favorite player. That was Goalie Patrick Roy (pronounced "wha"), who is from Quebec. He said, and I quote, "But he's French?"

I Have A Few Friends In New Brunswick And Ontario And Was Talking To One This Past Weekend And He Said If That Would Happen Then There Would Be An Open Border Between Canada And The USA, His Exact Words Were No Way, Because All The Riff-Raff And Criminals Would Be Able To Go Into New Brunswick, They Don’t Want It,
