This is a dangerous game, and one day someone won't be playing. I know we do it too, but the Russians seem to be pushing their luck to see how far we'll go before we really just lay a heat seeker in their cold rear ends. I guess they didn't learn from Syria yet, don't make debts your ass can't cash.

That's why they're giving the Syrians the S 400 missile system

S-400 missile system - Wikipedia
The S-400 Triumf (Russian: C-400 Триумф, Triumph; NATO reporting name: SA-21 Growler), previously known as the S-300PMU-3,[3] is an anti-aircraft weapon system developed in the 1990s by Russia's Almaz Central Design Bureau as an upgrade of the S-300 family. LTC (Join to see) - "In 2003, it became apparent that the system was not ready for deployment. In August, two high-ranking military officials expressed concern that the S-400 was being tested with "obsolete" interceptors from the S-300P system and concluded that it was not ready for deployment"....I guess there are two new job openings in Russia that need to be filled by loyal and quiet party members huh? Now even with this, can it track and intercept our fighters, not be jammed back into the stone age with our jammers, and not be destroyed by our air to ground missiles. It is a mobile platform, but it seems that it's not a "fire-and-forget' system. So are they willing to make those hard choices on a system that is fairly stuck in it's place once deployed?

It appears the joint Canadian/United States NORAD, North American Air Dense Command will again need to become fully aware that the Russians aren't gone by a long shot. It seems to Me thinking they were and letting Air Defense down was a huge mistake. I would say both the US and Canadian Military leaders are well aware of this, some of the civilian leadership needs to wake up. The Russians of course will continue to test this as they have in the past, its apparent that isn't going to stop .
