Good morning COL Mikel Boughers and Rally Point Family. Last year, I was asking the wrong people the wrong questions about the wrong type of service dog for myself, and it got me nowhere. A few weeks ago, while watching tv, I saw a an ad that caught my attention. It happened to be about service dogs for veterans who are suffering from PTSD. The application process is lengthy and extremely personal information is required to be shared with the folks at Canine Companions for Independence. Not everyone is approved.

Thank you, Mike. Everything for school is done as far as enrollment. Now I'm waiting on VA to pay the school so I can finish getting my books and get the tuition paid. I hurt my neck last week so my work here at home has come to a stand still. Hopefully, I can join you this weekend. I'm going to try and join Derrick tonight. Blessings, My Friend.

Thank you, CB. Even if I'm not accepted, I'm going to be supporting these people. The application was one of the hardest that I've ever filled out for anything, but the autobiography was even tougher. Took me 3 weeks to complete both. If those are accepted, the next step will be a face-to-face interview, hopefully, here in Montana. If not here, then I'll fly down to Santa Rosa, California. If I am successful in the interview, than I'll be matched with a dog and go down to Santa Rosa for two weeks of intensive training with the dog. I'm very optimistic, but not too hopeful.
