Chris Wallace RIPS DeVos for trying to illegally cut off funding to schools that don’t re-open

She doesn't answer his questions, her focus is the kids must be in school period. At this point their may not be any or much data on kids being affected or ability to spread the disease but the demographics are shifting to younger people. She doesn't offer any guidance as to how the schools should open safely such as plastic shields, staggered days, distancing, etc. I understand school districts will be different but there is not guidance such as "this state or district we recommend x,y,z or will give more attention to this area because..." I like that Wallace asked but the defunding and why they wouldn't assist schools in getting to a safe spot as opposed to simply cutting off their funding. If they care so much about the children getting five days a week of education I'd think they'd be offering more assistance to ensure schools get to safe.
I no longer have young children (mine are college aged) so I don't know where parents stand, especially ones who have gone back to work. I know from social media that some parents don't want their kids in public schools if there is no safety measure so they are seeking out private schools now.

It's actually a CDC Recommendation to open the schools in the fall. That is all she should have said instead of attempting to answer medical questions.
