1. Ground was broken for the foundation of the Lincoln Memorial on February 12, 1914
2. All foundation work was completed in May 1915.
3. By the time of the dedication on May 30, 1922, all the work was done except for completing the pool and the interior lighting which were finished within the next few years."

This was truly a beautiful & historical video of this really amazing U.S. National Monument.
I visited it twice as a boy (in the early 1960’s) only, & didn’t really comprehend its true meaning then.
I certainly do as an adult.
