In about 2004 I got to the airport at Juneau, AK a bit early and decided to take a walk around to kill time -- it's a small airport. When I got to the side opposite the terminal there was no fence at all -- but there was a gate you could simply walk around. The gate had some sort of do not enter warning from homeland Security. I walked around the gate one time -- I'm easily entertained.
