'Criminal Cabal'? FBI Fears Political Attacks May Imperil Work Of Field Agents

Funny. Their investigations should have "imperiled" the careers of some politicians instead of covering, burying, and deleting.

Oh yes let’s review. We were told Trump colluded with the Russians and illegally won the election. Pretty serious stuff. We were told it was because a Russian lawyer met with Trumps son to get dirt on Hillary. Well there was no dirt and that ended that. Then we are told Carter Page met with the Russians. Well nothing there. The latest was Some guy named Popadaplous or some such met with an Australian spy they got drunk and Popadaplous spelled the beans he had connections to Russians. The problem with that story seems to be that Popadaplous was not mentioned in any of the FISA warrents etc. oh wait the Russian Dossier is TRUE! Honest. Meanwhile we have FBI agents shagging each other and talking about insurance policies if Trump wins. One of them changed the memo that exonerated Hillary. Meanwhile the FBI lost months of emails between the shaggies.. sounds like the latest version of my dog ate my homework. Sorry, not much sympathy.

Have a hard time with this concept. Like the Military, the FBI is apolitical in its day to day operations. Any member of either organization that would let politics shade how he/she does their job wouldn't have much of a career in the organization. To suggest that life-long agents or soldiers would risk the benefits they have accrued seems a bit out of touch with reality IMO.
