"QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS", When will we know what the samples produced, is there or is there not a chance for water?

It has already been determined that water exists on Planet Mars. One huge source is in the Korolev Crater near the north pole of the Red Planet, which is filled with a mound of water ice 60 kilometres across and nearly 2 kilometres thick. The water ice is a permanent feature. It is thought that the crater traps a layer of cold air that prevents the ice melting even during the six-month-long northern summer on Mars, making this a year-long winter wonderland.

What NASA scientists are looking for now are areas where the components to support life in a molecular state, which would lead to the fact that life could have formed and perhaps has formed in some capacity... A chunk of that water ice in Korolev crater should solidify the science...

The European Space Agency's Mars Express probe captured this striking view of ice-filled Korolev Crater, near the north pole of the Red Planet

Thank you Sgt. Harkins I didn't know that, but still have many questions on the samples. :-)

Dangit... in my next life I'm gonna be a consultant for NASA...They keep missing the mark on drill sites... In this video there is a glimmer of a quartz type material in this granite type material...i.e. a MATRIX, 8-14 inches from the drill test holes... Drilling into solid rock, unless there is a formation that can be tested for metals, magnetic etc.. is just going where they've already been... signs of water microbiological life. Yeah yeah yeah...we know that already... you, NASA, gotta start finding stuff that is going to get the treasure hunting crowd to start funding your playtimes... In the large cracks just to the other sides of this "rock" there is an accumulation of material that covers the cracks... That is where you need to drill...inside turns NASA, INSIDE TURNS is where the heavies will seek out, stop and sink...and under them your going to find the same stuff you found in the solid rock samples...
Just sayin'...ya'll keep teasing with the almost misses...Almost got the sample with platinum based stuff in it...Almost...lol...
