SFC (Join to see) as a lifetime DAV member (and former adjutant, and treasurer for my chapter), I have nothing but praise for the DAV. The only downfall is that the younger generations dont realize the benefits that orgs like DAV or VFWs offer. The leaders of the orgs are hesitant to jump into mainstream communication with the younger servicemembers, thus ending up with empty chapter houses and a median age of 75-85.
