Is that your pocket guide LTC Stephen C.? LOL But I'm not going to tell a DSC recipient with with seven Purple Hearts how to wear his medals! I can say I have five of the medals he has but nothing important! LOL

I agree, SFC William Farrell! I would simply be proud to shake this extraordinary man’s hand.
Everything I wear on my uniform is fluff as far as I’m concerned but for the Special Forces tab and the Parachutist badge. I can no longer wear the blue infantry cord since I was commissioned Signal Corps. The rest are just bits of color, signifying little.
I will say though that I meet the height and weight standards for a male, 6’0” and 40 years and over. I can still wear the same dress blue uniform I wore while still serving (it is 26+ years old and in perfect condition) and I’ll be wearing it to a military ball in October!
P.S. Everything will be worn IAW AR 670-1!

LTC Stephen C. - The SF tab speaks volumes Steve. That's pretty good about the uniform after 26 years. When I was working for Navy about ten years ago, my boss was a Navy Warrant Officer and he happened to see a pic of me in my dress blues at 911 observances in NYC that I go to every year. He said Damn Bill, I'm impressed you still fit your uniform. I said yes Sir, I should as I only bought it three months ago! Enjoy the military ball, looking sharp as I am sure you will. I'd usually wear mine next week for 911 but with COVID and New York City being a ClusterF*** lately, I wont be going. Its just not worth the risk.
