Time marches on, unfortunately.

On another forum, someone had asked the question about revamping the US Currency (we keep changing it).

My response is that we shouldn't have People on the currency at all. We should have events. Things we want to remember, or more specifically things we never want to forget.

Take the $2 for instance. It has the signing of the Declaration on it's obverse. I think that's a great start. I'd put the Civil War (possibly Gettysburg) on the $5. Landing of the Moon on the $20. Hallmarks of achievement, Remembrances of tragedy.

Just my take.

Very interesting concept and you do not see too many $2.00 bills
