What SSG (Join to see) said "Or escaping madness and walking towards grace" makes sense. Also, MSG (Join to see) said "Trump is screwing up big time by losing Mattis and Kelly." LTC (Join to see), after reading the letter paragraphs 3, 4 and 5 seem clear to me about what is at the core of the reason(s) for his resignation.

On balance, as a nation, we are called to consider "facts in evidence" and have faith. Here on RP, each of us has to determine if Trump is a modern day Cyrus the Great (http://www.livius.org/articles/person/cyrus-the-great/) or is the Satin he made out to be. I think (I know), we live, as they say, in very interesting times.

I agree with your post on his letter and I read in the article the two men are not aligned.
The article headline however, was different. It appears, they have agreed on a lot of issues these last two years.
We should not be in a religious civil war. IMO. Arming? OK.
