I have no doubt that Democrats will eventually regret this.
Up until this point, the House allowed each party to determine who was placed on a committee and who was removed.
In this case, the Democrats decided to remove Greene for posts she made prior to her assuming a seat in Congress.
At the same time, Democrats have rejected removing Democrat members who have had affairs with Chinese spies such as Eric Swalwell, members who incited violence against other elected officials such as Maxine Waters, members who have made anti-sematic statements such as Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, or members who accused fellow elected officials of committing a felony such as AOC accusing Ted Cruz of attempted murder.
There are currently 5 seats that separate the Democrats and Republicans in the house. It is expected that Conservatives will win the House back in 2022.
My vote would be to immediately remove AOC and Waters from all committees.
I think Pelosi will find that her actions will be judged unfavorably the same way as Harry Reid's decision to nix the filibuster.

This should piss everyone off. She didn’t break any laws. They removed her because she said things people disagree with. They, as a party, disenfranchised everyone who voted for her. I don’t agree with the things she said but she has the right to say them. They used their power to silence punish their opposition for verbalizing what she believed.

Succinct, fair, and (I believe) accurate assessment.
I don't think the Dems will regret kicking her off because ANYONE thinks she didn't "deserve" it. They will regret the precedent they have created. To quote Casablanca, "Maybe not today; maybe not tomorrow. But soon, and for the rest of your life."

Well certainly the Republicans are regretting meeting her, I suspect the Democrats already regret meeting her too.
