Thank you for this share. I had studied this battle a long time ago. I was always interested in this war and why its not very well remembered.
Brock made for an easy target. He was taller than average and he wore a brightly colored sash given to him by Tecumseh. Nothing like bringing attention to yourself on a bartlefield.

CPT Jack Durish I only worry sometimes as my brain thinks faster than my fingers type. Words get skipped and I hit the wrong letter. It's just a nermal (intentional that time) thing for me. LOL

SFC Dr. Jesus Garcia-Arce, Psy.D I think I'll start intentionally misspelling words just to see if my thought makes sense a few days later. I got kids and a wife, do I pop in and out alot. I catch my mistakes sometimes.

There are many interesting and significant events in history that are either overlooked or the victims of false narratives. I'm working on a video about the Battle of Baltimore (1814). The seaborne attack on Ft McHenry was just a diversion but it is all that anyone knows about thanks to a poem that became our national anthem. It's real hero wasn't a lawyer observing the distraction, but a general whose memorial park was paved over and whose name only appears on a small bronze plaque embedded in a curbstone, leading the defense of the city that ended the war.
