That sucks PFC (Join to see). I wonder why that is. My brother was on USS Kennedy and he said sometimes they got to go on lower deck? Never been on a carrier so not sure how it's open down their. And that they got jump in for about an hour. But had to have ropes or something so they didn't get carried away by the current.

SFC (Join to see) - you have sponsons on deck where out watch are stationed we even have a smoke pit on two of them you also have the hangar bay were you can get some fresh air we also can go up to what we call vultures row which is on the island or control tower of the carrier where you can watch flight ops.

That's cool PFC (Join to see). I've always wanted to go into one. My mom got to go the Kennedy when she visited my brother. I was so jealous... lol... my boys would be in gladiator heaven if they could go aboard one!

SFC (Join to see) - we got two conventional carriers that are decomissioned and serve as museum ships the USS Lexington in Texas and USS Intrepid in New York they will be likely bet. Either that you as retired service member can go onto Naval Station San Diego we got one super carrier homeported there USS Carl Vinson as long as you can catch while in port you might be able get an escort around.
