I never seen in this how they explained Tower 7 going down. I've done a little explosive work and it sure looked like a controlled explosion to me.

I have never believed in a conspiracy for 9/11. Nor have I believed in a conspiracy about Pearl Harbor. Some people just have to embellish disasters.

COL Lee Flemming Interesting report. I have only one question that has yet to be answered regarding the attack on 11 September, If memory serves correctly, the "normal or usual" occupancy for the twin towers would be in excess of 50,000 people. The attacks happened mid morning, where were the 40,000 or so people that weren't at their desk? There was a large FBI office in the twin towers, yet there is no discussion of hundreds of FBI personnel perishing in the attack...

Are you trying to say that government workers show up on time for work for a guaranteed pay check..

What is the alternative to it just being early in the morning and people starting to leave after the first plane hit? Were those 40K people somehow knowingly or unknowingly tipped off to stay away? Most of them are just average civilians and none of them have said anything about it?

LTC (Join to see) - I'm not so sure it's all that strange and I'll tell you why I think that. I live on the east coast and I remember hearing about the first plane hitting as I was driving to work and second when I was in the parking lot arriving at my client site (around 9 AM). The point being, that based on the timeline many of the people working in the towers on the east coast were just arriving or still commuting to the towers. The people who did arrive early and were on lower floors had an hour to evacuate.

So most of the people were probably commuting to work and arriving while or around the time the plane's hit and probably never entered the building and many of the people who did arrive early below where the planes hit had time to evacuate. That's the most likely reason why the death toll wasn't higher.
