CW5 Jack Cardwell, Dolly Parton's home is on Crockett Road in Brentwood, TN and is less than seven miles from my front door. I pass by it all the time. Dolly has never invited me in, although I have a good friend who lives next door (as mansions go) and visits with Carl Dean frequently. She even has a separate building for a chapel on the grounds. Here are pics of Dolly's home and one of her before she started messing with herself!

You're right, TSgt David L.. The house has been there for I don't know how many decades, and many other country music notables have built much larger homes since Dolly's was built. However, this home has a great deal of acreage and it's located right smack in the middle of Brentwood.
I'm sure that if ole Dolly wanted something bigger, she'd have it built!
