We were talking about this, this morning. The old saying about brave men dying once but cowards dying daily for their failure. That assistant coach who ran to help the kids unarmed and was killed, even though I can't remember his name I remember his act and think of what a great guy he must have been.
I have a lack of empathy for this guy.
One of the guys who is well decorated and an actual combat proven bad ass says "poor dude was probably scared" I said .. you were scared and you still did the rite thing. Yup empathy love fest quashed, crustiness re-instilled.

LT Brad McInnis - Thanks, I frequently run into Soldiers from the old unit, they ask if I remember them and I do, I can tell them their unit, MOS, what squad they were in and usually a story about something they did but I can't remember their names, very embarrassing.
