This political idiot rode the wave of his ego and crashed, he refuses to see his goose is cooked, he will rise no higher and eventually be removed quietly when things die down.

LTC Stephen C. - Sir depending on how much his failures are brought out daily, weekly etc he will be removed from above or told to resign before something worse happens to him. He used his position to push his views attempted to save face by throwing the coward officer under the bus but then made stupid comments which attracted the spot light to him. You are right Sir he is thick headed which will aid in ending his job. This is an example of what happens when you put someone with political motivation in a leadership position, they blame everyone else for their failures. They take no personal responsibility for their poor leadership skills.
