Wow, a GOP candidate who understands that a Christian's right to discriminate does NOT trump an LGBT person's right not to be discriminated against.
Good for you Mr. Greitens.

I think Bill Flax said it best, "Faith is no civil contract, but a personal matter not to be profaned by politics."
Here are my two cents. Anyone who reads this it is not my intent to offend you, however I intend to make a point. If this law is passed, it should apply to ALL people according to "biblical/religious law". Here is what should be included in this law:
1. Had sex before marriage
2. Have been divorced for other reasons beside what's "biblically acceptable"
3. Are not willing to remarry their ex-spouse
SAY WHAT??
It seems to me that people tend to pick and choose to live by certain "religious teachings" that are convenient to their own personal values. Some people can tolerate one's fault more than others, but fact of the matter is, the law should be fair across the board.
Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder said he wanted the people of Missouri to "have a voice on reserving a zone of protected activity based on their sincere religious conviction.”
In this case, let's cover all religious convictions, not just one.
There would be an uproar if the law was passed to include what I mentioned above. I can only imagine why.
