Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on June 14, 1922 President Warren G. Harding became the first president to have his voice transmitted by radio while hw was addressing a crowd at the dedication of a memorial site for the composer of the “Star Spangled Banner,” Francis Scott Key.
It seemed very fitting for this to be the first Presidential voice transmission since it honored the composer of the National Anthem Francis Scott Key.
