Hawaii becomes 50th state

Just to erase all doubt about how stupid I can be -- I had three 49 start flags at the time and gave them away because they had become antiquated.

Back when My Dad was in the Navy during the Korean War He was stationed at Pearl Harbor Navel Station , Territory of Hawaii. My Mom and I were there with Him. (Dad was also a WWII Navy combat Veteran in the Pacific ) My parents still had some 45 RPM records the label was 49th State records with Hawaii Logo which were recorded before Alaska became the 49th state instead of Hawaii. My Mother Aunt who was a CPO in the US Navy was later stationed at Pearl Harbor, HI when it was a state. She spent 30 years on active duty. I was stationed in Hawaii Myself from 1971 to 1974 at Hickham AFB, HI My late Father in Law was stationed there during WWII before He was deployed into the Pacific Theater of Operations and made beached landings on Guam and also Okinawa.
