When I first heard this song, I didn’t really know what exactly a ‘Soul Sister’ was.
I did a lot of research on it, and I found that a Soul Sister, is someone that truly understands you. Someone that you can relate to or someone who you believe is your soulmate, but not in a romantic way.

For example, for me, I have never really fitted in with people. I’m actually quite introverted and self conscious, it was always a struggle for me to feel included.
But I had a break through, when I realised that when I was surrounded by people that are passionate about music or lyrics and how it makes them feel, I felt right at home. That was the moment I knew that I was in love with music.
That’s why I feel so happy, sharing the beauty of hearing other people’s music or sharing my own with you, and I hope you all feel that you can do the same back to me and show me new paths of music, used to express our different emotions.
Working with such incredible musicians like Sina, Jadyn, Andrei, Mayte etc, is such an honour because whenever I work with them, I learn something new about music or how they perceive it.
Not only has music always given me a new point of view when I’m in a particular situation, it has also allowed me to meet some amazing people, who have the same passions as me. That’s truly a gift.
I thank you all for allowing me to learn from you.
For me, you all are my ‘Soul Sisters and Brothers.’
And this is because we all have one thing in common. We all love music or the way it makes us feel, whether it’s listening to it or making it.
