Back in the late 70s it was 3/4 inch Video tape, in the 80s it was Beta or VHS, in the 90s It was DAT and VHS-C then it went digital and now you can get super 1080P excellent digital quality on your smart phone and put it on youtube in 5 minutes!!. The internet changed everything. Now you see moms walking their dogs and pushing the stollers looking at their smart phones (as well as students) not looking while crossing the street. I would say it is so much better now. No more typing and using typing correction tape. MS word, Excel and PPT makes publishing so much easier!! No more pay phones to worry about. I did not like High School (1978-1980) except for track and cross country running. Today seems easier in some ways than way back then.

PO3 Aaron Hassay so so . Mile 4:55. 2 mile 11:15. 3 miles 16:24 4 miles 23:24. Best 10k 35:52. 4 Mile and 10K times work from college a couple years later. I only ran in Cross Country at the community college level. When basic training and OCS 14-16 years later, I could run a 12-minute 2-mile and that was in my early to mid thirties.
