I know when My youngest son and His girlfriend took a trip to Europe We were able to track and see where His airplane was over the course of the entire trip. Of course if an aircraft like Air Force one can be viewed by its not all that hard to guess what aircraft that may be. It seems to Me also to give it safe passage through airspace air traffic controller would still have to know where it was to be able to direct other aircraft away from that area.
