Millions would die and socialists will cry because then the carbon taxes and cap and trade would be out of the question. India and Pakistan have been added since 1947 but both acquired nuclear weapons in the 70s and 80s. Even though most of us feel complacent thinking that battalions of pakistanis and Indians in the Himalayas or in cashmere facing each other is normal. Yes, planes have been shot down and people have been killed but what if this became a nuclear war?

My friend LTC (Join to see) long before the the ludicrous global warming scare, the nuclear winter associated with the Cold War was the primary threat of global catastrophe. The Nuclear Winter was the ominous result of nuclear war in the classic movie Dr Strangelove.

1SG (Join to see) I misunderstood your question. Lately, most of the climate studies are based on the premise that Nana's at fault. Very few if any studies are being push to the premise that it could be natural warming of us between ice ages. That's why people can't stand dr. Judith Curry because she was the mother of climate change and now she's saying that those scientists who disagree get fired from the political science climate change field. She said in his video that's honest and open debate on climate and keeping minority opinions not marginalized is something that the left side of the community doesn't accept. You are a scientist, you don't have to worry about getting fired for saying something that goes against it's like a climate change agenda.

People have too much time on their hands but then again it does sort of acts as a spoiling attack to the Juggernaut of the left is having. Look at that the Juggernaut of the left beating the daily favorites in Chicago running for mayor and you have crazy Cortez in New York and you have Bernie Sanders all honor roll thinking that socialism is going to win and we are going to do a Manhattan Project concerning climate change when we should be increasing our vigilance and defense.

LTC (Join to see) - I think the author was attempting to say how man can affect the climate and cite some research to back up the article. One trick ponies see everything through the lens of a single issue. This (and several of the ones you cite) is a prime example.

1SG (Join to see) I was laughing when today I heard the governor of Washington state is running for president and his prime concern about the world, just like President Obama, is golf Delta climate change. Not peace in this world. Not the threats from North Korea, China, India and Pakistan, Russia Etc, but another excuse to tax the hell out of us. Didn't Washington State just say no to a carbon tax in November? It's funny how the Democrats are all trying to Out-left each other.
