That's right, the Sgt on the line has a slightly better idea of what's going on in his sector than that REMF 20 miles back. I like the Regimental affiliation idea, that young man raised in, back of beyond, Appalachia is probably going to a better job as part of the 10th Mountain, but I can also see where it might lead to some units getting the "F Troop" designation. There will have to be some upper level movement between commands to prevent this. Overall it's a bright looking future.

I'll describe this article in bullets based on its contents:
-Army Futures command: The new home of Good idea ferries!
-Guard aircraft to active duty to make up for taking Kiowas out of service: Hey Nat'l Guard have we got a deal for you!
BG Roy Robinson: Speak with forked tongue!
Multi-domain Battle: There a reason the Navy and Marines won't go for it!
Mission Command: bad job of calling existing doctrine something new!
Junior leaders exercising initiative: Nothing new its been going on for a long time!
Ending micro-management: Never happen!
