California wants to be their own country. Time to increase their defense budget. They are already over $800 billion in debt, what's another few hundred billion.

Governor Brown, prime minister Trudeau and most of the European Union are all suckered by the climate change tax and spend mentality where many people won't get there tax credits because they make too much money. California houses they want to go a hundred percent green energy in the foreseeable future. Be careful, this happened in Ontario Canada and due to mismanagement and overproduction of green Electrical grid, Ontario's electrical prices are triple the national average. Climate change is a pseudoscience and this comes from the lady who was the head scholar on climate change until she started questioning the climate model and now scientists and politicians have excommunicated her and run her out of the climate change tribe.

Sorry, Every Time I Think of California I think of Jesuit Jerry Brown Moonbeam approach to things and I don't think they have much money for the National Guard that they have. They're going broke now paying for 350 soldiers just to fight fires in California. I can imagine them having their own Army and having to raise the price of fuel to the EU European Union levels to afford anything. I can imagine that this will cause even more businesses to leave California and go to Nevada to where taxes are a lot lower. California is the fifth largest economy but I don't think it will stay that way if they impose their hundred percent green mandate. I know that battery technologies improving and Tesla's helping by making house prototypes I can be off the grid. Remember, California wants to split up into three or more separate states each of those areas had their way.

Technically speaking unlike many red states California pays in more in Federal tax then it receives.
If the red welfare states paid in their fair share California's budget might look better!

This is ridiculous, California isn't going anywhere. They are the sixth largest economy in the world. Their currency would go up, ours would go down. In a few years they will be running electric cars on solar power.

Well you can start by shutting down all remaining military installations like "Red" Ron Dellums did in the San Francisco Bay Area... make sure that they're aware that they're jack-booted fascist thugs.
That should help...

I guess they have been asleep for the last 15-20 years as the dram with North Korea has escalated. The last 8 years NK has been on the fast track to the weapons. Californian's slept because Obama was in the white house. He was too smart to ever let anything happen to their liberal utopia. Time to wake up, shake off the cob webs, smell the covfefe and deal with the reality of failed US foreign policy. They will be asking Trump to nuke the NK's before too much longer.
