How is one supposed to view this article? Whiteness? This quote comes directly from the article: “Exit polls aren’t completely exact, but they firmly places [sp] whiteness at the center of President Donald Trump’s base. According to The New York Times’ exit poll, 57 percent of white Americans voted for Trump, a number that barely budged from 2016. And Brookings reports that Democratic margins for nonwhite voters appear to have shrunk.“
The author makes no mention of the percent of white Biden (Democratic) voters, and goes further to say “that Democratic margins for nonwhite voters appear to have shrunk.“ What’s the percentage for Biden?
Finally, why shouldn’t white voters be Trump’s base (and Biden’s as well)? Look at the graph. Whites are still in the majority. This is an article about nothing.

Thanks Colonel. I didn't read the topic article, but do believe we need to be more united. I'm not apathetic, just politically agnostic. The Nation is always my first concern. We've all put in lots of hard work to preserve it.

In my opinion, CWO3 (Join to see), that’s exactly the opposite of the author’s intent, and why I raised questions.

LTC Stephen C. - Agreed Sir. Demographics are for pollsters. I hope the trend of increased voter participation continues, and just do my part by voting. Post election we should be looking at the mail votes and overall election integrity. It appears as if COVID was weaponized more by Dems to get out the distant vote. It's been a strange year for us all.

We need to all strive to be good stewards of our great, and obviously divided Nation. Trust, but verify. Remain informed, and vigilant within our limitations. We all have the skills and ethos to unite, despite politics. We're still a young USA, with a lot to learn.
