US Capitol Police Sgt. Aquilino Gonell was beaten with a flagpole. His hand was sliced open. He was hit with so much chemical spray that the liquid soaked through to his skin. During intense hand-to-hand combat with rioters on the west front of the US Capitol on January 6, there were moments where Gonell thought he might die.
"They called us traitors. They beat us. They dragged us," Gonell told CNN, in his first interview about the violence he experienced and witnessed on January 6. "And I could hear them, 'We're going to shoot you. We're going to kill you. You're choosing your paycheck over the country. You're a disgrace. You're a traitor.'"
Several hundred feet away that same day, US Capitol Police Officer Byron Evans was inside the locked Senate chamber with 100 senators and Vice President Mike Pence, hand on his weapon and mentally preparing for a life-or-death situation to come through the doors.

Divided. Our new president isn't very inclusive and now he's asking us to believe the 1619 project. The 1619 project is very prejudicial against white people . Some Democrats here think we are all qanon. Then are still moderate Democrats that are going to hopefully be rail the crazy aspirations of our president.

LTC Eugene Chu not deflecting because those who are arrested blinding officers and causing serious damage in Oregon all last summer have hardly been prosecuted at all and none of them put in a solitary confinement like the crazies who attacked the capitol. I wish we would send a National Guard division into each major city that had a similar insurrection.

LTC (Join to see) - that's up to the state attorney to bring charges against them. even those who attacked federal property, it is up to the US attorney for that district to prosecute. in the capitol, they were attacking federal property and federal employees, along with district employees. the feds will always take the first crack at prosecution

LTC Eugene Chu - If only 23% of Republicans said they had “a lot” or “some” knowledge of QAnon how can 24% say they held a favorable impression of QAnon? That leaves 1% out there loving on QAnon while not knowing anything about it. As such I have a feeling this poll is 122% accurate.
However if the poll you posted is close - I feel there should be real concern from both sides regarding far left or right groups as 6% of Democrats like as well what QAnon is putting out. That's 30% of all Dems and Republicans - enough to support a third political party.
