Thank you, Lt Col Charlie Brown! Many people in today's environment do not understand the technical component of video and they believe if it is not directly from the camera, it is not real and that just isn't the case... A video data file is far and away extremely large in size with the resolution that is being taken, but the camera's still photos, in sequence are what forms the video stream anyway and the size of each image for transmitting to Earth is very small in comparison to a video being transmitted to Earth. This what is shown as video is real...it is just the processing that is different...

Sgt (Join to see) - I started editing on 16mm film, followed by U-Matic 3/4" machines, and then 1" Sony decks. The last job was done on a PC, but nothing to this scale. I hate it when I'm told 'Just do it', then they don't like the results.

SPC Michael Terrell It has changed dramatically in the last 20 years or so... Now it is all digital... That's the world I enjoy...It is the creativity, Michael... People will either like it or hate it, but most of what I do is liked... Thank the Lord!

Sgt (Join to see) - A jog wheel and a large monitor sure beats a tiny optical screen and a film cutter.
I liked the jog wheel so much that I bought a 'Griffin Powermate' for my computer. They stopped selling them a while back, but it s driver is programable for how it works with multiple programs.
I did that last job on a then, brand new Windows 7 system with 16 GB of RAM and an eight core processor. It was great that you could step frame at a time without worrying about wearing out some video tape. I used AVS4YOU to edit that Industrial video.

I wonder if the crater was at the bottom of a sea, so as the waters receded, what remained at the very bottom froze (are those frozen waterfalls on the one side?). Thank you for the share Sgt (Join to see)
