Hardly fired. That’s pure media rhetoric. He was detailed to the White House. The article indicates that he’ll return to duty at the Pentagon and will later attend the Army War College, which is generally a good indicator that an officer is being groomed for higher rank.
He’s a commissioned officer and serves at the pleasure of the President. I can’t for the life of me see why anyone should be surprised that he no longer serves in the White House.

LTC Stephen C. Timing, same as Sondland. He had the same right to recall Sondland and have Vindman reassigned as any boss going after someone who told on them. In many cases they can legally do it... Ethically is a different story.

He went after Vindman’s brother too. That’s pretty much the “high” ethical standard we’ve come to expect from this administration.

Have it your way, SPC Kevin Ford. I wouldn’t want someone working for me that was trying to bring me down, whether it be Vindman or Sondland. If that’s the way you wish to work (civilian or military), that’s up to you.
The fact is, Vindman’s career is intact, he was not fired, and will likely get promoted.

LTC Stephen C. You’re 100% correct. The left is just upset they are losing insiders to illegally leak information that damages national security for political gain.
