Wow, talk about an unfair characterization of our, your, President. This is exactly what is wrong in America now. So let me see if I got this correct...pre-2008 Hillary says, “Dissent is the highest form or patriotism.” 2008-2016, dissent means you must not be comfortable having a black man as President, hence, proof American is still firehoses, Bull Connor, and Jim Crow. Now dissent, once again, is not only patriotic, but mandatory! Resist!! Yawn, next...

Most of that sounds like the Obama Regime. Just glad I'm dealing with Trump's authoritarianism rather than the Clinton hegemony.

Donald Trump has been authoritarian all his business life. He was a manager, not a leader. However he wielded authority freely granted to him by investors because he provided a return on that investment. However, that business model of power doesn't work in government. We the People cede limited powers to government with no expectation of any return on investment. Those who wish to exceed those limits take them either by brute force or by lulling the people into complacency. That's been happening in America since long before President Trump was even born. Indeed his election was a significant reflex by the people to derail this trend and those who seek to replace the will of the people with an authoritarian government have been writhing in agony at the setback. This article is just another propaganda piece attempting to help put America back on track in the relentless march to authoritarian government.

Having trouble making sense of this, Captain Jack......I agree that Trump was "authoritarian" in business.....manager vs being a leader.....and that doesn't work well in the job he holds now. But you conclude by saying that Trump was elected to steer us away from the march to an "authoritarian" government. It takes an authoritarian to save us from an authoritarian? Huh?
