Interstellar space travel will require lots of sex

And here the PC, progressive crowd might be a little upset, considering IST would definitely require procreation and actual births. PPH would not be welcome aboard an IST craft and for that matter, gay couples would be a detriment to continued survivability. Survival of a species requires procreation by attraction and action, gay people do not procreate, naturally. Sorry gay people I have no animus, but evolution and survival of a species requires procreation. To me it's logical, not an emotional argument.

Unless we move to a cloning methodology which is even more frightening to think about considering... master-race. Who decides genetic composition of a cloned human race and what if the clone has a dormant defect. Species diversity is how our species evolves.
