LTC (Join to see) - Major; While I do agree that Iran COULD be covertly proceeding with the building of nuclear weapons, I consider that the Iranian government leaders are smart enough to know that they don't actually have to do that as long as the US government keeps on telling everyone that it is doing so.

After all, do the Russians ACTUALLY know that there are nuclear warheads on those supposed ICBMs that purportedly are concealed in what look like missile silos scattered all over the United States of America?

Besides, the Iranians can make a lot more political capital out of actually complying with "The Deal" than they would by breaching it - and the Iranian leadership knows that fact too.

COL Ted Mc - Thanks for your analysis but I feel that Iran has a death wish with Nuking Israel. Maybe I am totally wrong but I saw a report years ago about a faction within the Iranian government that talks about the idea of the hidden Imam similar to the the coming of Jesus at the end of days in Revelation/Apocalypse that they hope to build a nuke to destroy Israel and guarantee the return of Mohammed.

LTC (Join to see) - Major; Those in the Iranian government who are hoping to facilitate "the return of Mohammad" had better do a quick "doctrine check" because there is nothing in the Qu'ran (or "Orthodox Islam") that indicates that Mohammad will return to Earth. In fact, the opposite is true.

True, Islam does teach that at the "end times" the Mahdi will appear - but it also teaches that the Mahdi and Jesus will fight alongside each other to defeat 'Masih ad-Dajjal' (aka "The Anti Christ").

I'm quite prepared to grant FOX News' research and scholarship the respect and consideration that it has shown it deserves.
